J.R. started in radio broadcasting at the tender age of 13. It was then that he fell into the evil ranks of pirate radio, and found that he had a talent for it. His passion for broadcasting continued through college, branching out into television as well. He soon realized that the television industry wasn’t right for him, and he decided on a career working with special needs children in elementary education. He never forgot his beginnings in radio, and secretly longed to return to it in some form. J.R’s other passion has been his love for the soap opera genre. The ability to create characters that people can follow and grow with has always been an amazing concept to him. Of course, his idol has always been Aaron Spelling. J.R. discovered that the radio production industry had evolved with the advent of the internet and media streaming. Using computerized editing programs, he was able to record actors at different times and “splice” them together. Then complete with music and sound effects, voilà, we had a show! He is humbled by his amazing cast, and the fact that they have brought his characters to life. J.R. lives and loves in Covington, Washington and loves every moment of it.
