Katarina (aka Kat) was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii.  In school, she had been a part of the Speech and Debate team as well as the Audio Visual team for almost 8 years.  She left the island of ‘paradise’ to study medicine, Perfusion Technology, in Pittsburgh, PA.  It was there, she also majored in Theatre and Communications.  In her first drama class, she had Professor Keenan.  He opened her eyes to a world she never thought she’d be a part of.   Almost three years later, she moved to Los Angeles and pursued a new found passion, acting.  In LA, she performed in a few plays, feature films, voiceovers, television series, and walked on more than a few fashion runways.  After five years, she decided to leave Los Angeles to support her fiancé’s new career at Microsoft.  Then, about two years ago, the acting ‘bug’ returned.  She took part in Microsoft’s Theatre Troupe Production of “All in the Timing”, and now finds herself taking part in the independent film community within Seattle and making ends meet by working as a Marketing Manager at Microsoft.  In addition to, she is thrilled to join the cast of “Eye in the Storm” as Darlene Montgomery.  She loves exploring the human mind and the human condition because that’s what makes us who we are!
