  This show is dedicated to the memory of Peter Breen. He was largerthan-life and the true inspiration behind Vernon Montgomery. His memory will live on in those words. You will forever be loved and missed, my friend.

This show is also dedicated to the memory of a dear, sweet woman named Jane Riese.  She lived and breathed the preforming arts and without her, this show would not be.  You are loved and missed, my dear "Fluffy".

WHAT IS EYE OF THE STORM?

Eye of the Storm is a online radio soap opera, or audio drama geared for a “listening” audience. It is created for those soap opera fans that love the fast-paced insanity of the prime-time soap genre, but not the hassle of scheduling their lives to accommodate their favorite shows. The solution is the audio drama.


WHY “EYE”?

Being loyal to television programs has become increasingly difficult in an age where time is everything. The convenience of internet “instant” access seems to be where a growing majority of people are turning for entertainment. Now, with things such as pod-cast and streaming audio, broadcast television and radio are becoming more and more a relic of the past. Yet there was a time before the internet, or even television, when entertainment was delivered from a small glowing box on the fireplace mantle, and the screen where you saw your favorite dramas unfold was your imagination. The sky was literally the limit. Eye of the Storm revives the wonderful genre of the radio soap opera set in the modern-era while providing its audience with the convenience of enjoying each episode at their leisure. Unlike its television counterparts, Eye of the Storm combines fast-paced storylines and strong characters to create a vivid mental image of life in Lafayette.


WHEN CAN I HEAR IT?

Episodes will be released every three weeks on the website, via podcast, and on a variety of internet radio stations. Any changes in scheduling will be posted.
